The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie 2 Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions on the community.

SASSA will likely be rendering services for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency explained it is actually alarmed with regard to the large amount of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The intention in the SRD Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a significant number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is certainly mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's sassa status no absolutely functional office devoted to service the area on a daily basis. The assistance point developed for intervention activities a superior inflow of opportunity beneficiaries, that makes it complicated for the Workplace to attend to all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more sources to empower the servicing of all prospects and improve use of Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
